Jackie Hepfinger came to the Buckeyes a few weeks into the 2009-2010 season joining the freshman class of Kelsey Bisson and Amanda Schneider. Hailing from Massachusetts, Hepfinger played ice hockey with the Holliston Panthers for four years as well as with the Minuteman Lady Flames for six seasons. A strong athlete at Holliston High, Jackie was a scholar athlete as well as captain of the varsity volleyball team. Her excellence in her athletic accomplishments carried over to her academics as well, and she was on the Honor Roll, Principal's List, and was awarded High Honors.

Jackie is majoring in Chinese at Ohio State, and is a member of the ROTC Navy program as well as the International Affairs Scholars.

Jackie's family consists of her parents Mark and Lisa Hepfinger and brothers Matt (23) and Marc (21).
