Goals For
U10-U14 teams will play three periods of stop clock, twelve minutes each. U16 and U19 teams will play three periods of stop clock, fifteen minutes each.
Each team will be allowed one 45-second time out per game.
Ties:
Overtime will be played in championship games only.
There will be a two-minute rest followed by a five-minute, stop clock, sudden death overtime.
Immediately prior to overtime period, coaches must provide five player shootout lineup in the event that shootout is required to determine game winner.
If game still tied after five-minute overtime, a shootout will take place. Initially, five players will shoot from each team. Best out of five scoring chances determines winner.
If game still tied after first five shootout players have completed their shot attempt, shootouts will continue until winner is determined. No player will shoot twice until everyone on the SMALLEST NUMERICAL roster of the two competing teams has shot (excluding goalies). At that point, process repeats.
Protective equipment that is required by USA hockey will be worn. Canadian players will follow the equipment regulations from their governing body.
Per USA Hockey rules, there is no tag-up offsides. (Automatic)
Teams will bring one set of light colored jerseys and one set of dark colored jerseys. If team only has one set, contact tournament committee.
Refunds will only be issued if team withdraws 30 days prior to tournament. If team withdraws after 30 days, a refund will only be given if slot is filled.
Tournament Director reserves right to institute running clock or curfew games in instances where game times drastically extend beyond allotted rink schedule due to excessive penalties on the part of one or both competing teams.
Tournament Director has final say in matters.
